Quicklip was founded by Clive Russell in 1990. Mr. Russell’s background is in Electrical, Plumbing, Boiler, High Pressure Steam, and Videography. He worked in those fields for 37 years and he spent a lot of time above the drop ceiling. One day he had to install a product to the drop ceiling track. He ordered a few different types of clips for the projects. Upon receiving the clips, he was very disappointed with the products that he had purchased which should have made the job easier. Facing the reality of the situation, he decided to be a part of the solution. After extensive research, Mr. Russell identified many different types of drop ceiling clips, because there are many different types of drop ceiling tracks. So, he decided to commit himself to design a product and simplifying it. A product that everyone in the drop ceiling world can appreciate.
